Journeys is the culmination of personal paths taken since 2012.<\/p>\n

Through this album, Nocuts offers a true emotional journey, an invitation to explore, inspired by the paths of composer Olivier Roch and his musicians.<\/p>\n

The quartet’s music oscillates between written passages and unbridled improvisations, blending melodic elegance and rhythmic contrasts, in a constant search for the unexpected and a sense of discovery.<\/p>\n

The music of Journeys<\/i> stands at the crossroads of these aesthetics, in the vein of artists such as Tigran Hamasyan, Avisha\u00ef Cohen, or Anne Paceo.<\/p>\n

Accessible yet demanding, the group’s music develops a nuanced and dreamlike style, distinguished by the unique sound of the clarinet in a modern jazz context.<\/p>\n
